NationAir Hires Barnard As Sales Executive for Pacific Northwest

CHICAGO, Ill.—January 6, 2009—NationAir Aviation Insurance announced today that it has hired Dale E. Barnard as a sales executive for the Pacific Northwest.

Barnard will manage the company’s general aviation insurance sales practice in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska from a sales office located at the Portland International Airport in Oregon.

Barnard brings nearly 25 years of aviation insurance experience to his new position. His expertise includes the development and management of transition programs for flight departments and individual operators.

Prior to joining NationAir, Barnard managed an aviation insurance practice for a large national broker. He served as the aviation committee chair for the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, raising funds for the restoration of historic aircraft from the Cleveland National Air Races.

A pilot and plane owner, Barnard is an EAA Flight Leader. He served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and holds a B.S. from Oregon State University.
